ABOUT THE PROJECTS

Jörgen Svensson’s work is mainly based on three areas. The first one are those pieces/works he has done for galleries, museums and exhibition/art halls. The second encompasses teaching, lectures and consulting while the third area is about various projects, where many have taken place in general public forums and not in traditional art arenas. Because of their size and complex nature, the projects have dominated his work since the middle of the 90s.

Jörgen Svensson has been described as an avant/pioneer within project-based art having socio-political character.
